How do I order more nebulizer medicines?
The Norco Pharmacy will not ship drugs to you automatically each month. You or your designee must
make a specific request. You should call and schedule your shipment a week an advance\, if possible. Ordering
with a 7-10 day supply of medications on hand allows the pharmacy to take advantage of less expensive shipping
rates. The holidays are difficult shipping times for reasons of high volume. Please plan appropriately.
Where is the pharmacy located?
The pharmacy is located in Boise, Idaho. The direct number to the pharmacy is (208) 433-6108. Customers in
the local calling area should use this number. The Norco Pharmacy also has a toll free number, which is 1-888-568-8576.
Customers not in the local calling area should use this number. Norco provides your medication deliveries through
UPS, FedEx shipping services, and locally through Action Courier.
How many doses of medicine may I receive at one time?
Medicare allows a 31-day supply of each respiratory medication ordered by your physician, which is
determined by the frequency of use, as ordered. Medicare does set limits of 186 doses of Albuterol and/or
186 doses of Ipratropium, which is the equivalent of 6 treatments per day. If the doctor will write a medical
justification for higher usage, then the limits can be exceeded.
What happens if I am traveling and need to refill my prescription?
Call the toll-free number to the pharmacy to request a prescription refill. The pharmacist will need the
location where you want the medication shipped (Street Address, City, State, Zip-code). Norco can ship
respiratory medication by UPS or FedEx directly to you in the following states: Montana, Idaho, Washington,
Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.
Where do I order supplies for the nebulizer?
Order supplies for your nebulizer machine from the local Norco Medical Store that is in your community.
You should always have a back-up nebulizer kit in case the one you are using malfunctions. If you have any
nebulizer billing questions, please direct them to your local Norco Medical Store.
What happens if I feel side effects during my treatments?
If you are experiencing side effects from your nebulizer medications, please contact your physician or the
pharmacist. The education leaflets have the side effects listed for you to read. The Norco pharmacist needs to
know all the medications that you take, including non-prescription drugs, herbs, vitamins and your inhalers to
better assist in identifying possible drug interactions.
What is the date of service?
The date of service is the date the medication was shipped to you.
Where do I call if I have other questions?
The Norco Pharmacy is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Mountain Time). If you are in
the Boise, ID calling area, dial 433-6108. If you are outside the Boise, ID calling area use the toll-free
number, 1-888-568-8576. Both of these numbers dial directly into the pharmacy.
