Scooters

Scooters can be an inexpensive way of providing mobility for individuals who are beginning to have problems walking as a result of unresolved issues with balance or endurance.  Due to their length they tend to be difficult to maneuver indoors, but can be an excellent option for assisted living facilities with open floorplans or to help resolve community access issues.

Scooters come in 3 or 4 wheel models in a variety of different sizes and configurations.  They can be provided with accessories such as baskets or holders for canes and oxygen tanks.  Some are available with features such as lights, turn signals, and even seat elevators.
