Aging in Place

Aging in PlaceWhat is Aging in Place?  The National Aging in Place Council defines it as: The ability to continue to live in one's home safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level. It means living in a familiar environment, and being able to participate in family and other community activities.

You see, in the past if someone had difficulty living by themselves it was a signal that it was time to move in with a family or go to a nursing home, but for most people that is no longer the case.  You do not have to relocate as your needs change!  Modifying your home with products and services that will make it safe and accessible will actually cost far less financially (and emotionally) than moving.

Comfort and Safety - not age or disability - should always be the focus, and remember you don't have to be elderly or have a disability to have an access issue.  Contact Norco today to find out how we can help you stay in your own home.
