norco employment benefits

Norco currently offers a full compensation/benefit package to full time employees as outlined below. Norco is an equal opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.

Group Medical, Dental and Life Insurance
A group health/hospitalization, dental, vision, and life insurance program is made available to all full-time regular employees. Norco pays a majority of the employee premium expense of this program and also provides group rates for dependent health, dental, and vision insurance for the employee's family.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Full time employees become eligible for paid time off (PTO) after their first year of continuous employment as follows: 10 days per calendar year after 1 year, 15 days after 5 years and 20 days after 15 years. In addition, one paid float or personal day is given each calendar year, as well as six paid holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).

401(k) Saving & Profit Sharing Plan
Norco currently provides a 401(k) Saving & Profit Sharing Plan to help employees save for retirement. Norco pays 100% of the profit sharing benefits and contributions are based upon the profitability of the Company. Norco will match the following, dependent upon employee's contributions: 100% of the first 3% of employee's compensation, plus 50% of the next 3% of compensation.

Educational Assistance
Development of employee's skills and knowledge is very important to Norco. Our Educational Assistance program provides tuition support for continuing education classes for full-time employees who have completed their introductory period. A minimum grade of "C" or better is required to receive assistance.

Flexible Benefits Plan
Our Flexible Benefits Plan allows employees to pay any out-of-pocket medical and dependent day care expenses using pre-tax dollars. The result is more net take home pay for employees because taxes are not taken out on the money deferred through the employee's flexible benefits account.
